Denver Police Targeting Latinos for ‘Cruising’ on Cinco de Mayo
If Hispanic business weren’t feeling the depression in the Colorado state then Denver Police are making sure they feel the pain , every year the Denver police starts its targeting of Hispanics during the Cinco de Mayo celebrations , and thus scaring away Latino customers that would normally shop along “federal blvd” in Denver.
Denver police are preparing for the annual Cinco de Mayo celebrations that include Latinos cruising along Federal Blvd.
Police anticipate heavy latino traffic along Federal Blvd. both Saturday, Sunday, May 5, 9, and 10.
Additional police officers will patrol Federal Blvd. during those days.
Traffic barricades will also be used to restrict access to side streets along Federal Blvd. ap news
