So , by using fuzzy math like “sex offenders comprise of two percent of illegals apprehended” according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) records , she comes up with speculation that approximately 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders currently residing in the United States.

Lou Dobbs doesn’t need a new platform. He needs psychiatric help. Dobbs suffers from Superior White Man Syndrome (SWMS).
He hits all the checkpoints; paranoid, yes; delusional, yes; irrational hatred, yes; unreasonable prejudice, yes; delusions of grandeur, even now that he is departing and hinting at a political career, yes.
Prescription? Lots of rest, Valium and three weeks in Mexico to study history, demography and the real lives of people instead of the manufactured lies he has used for years.
The ranting and raving, the finger-pointing and hate speech, and the complete lack of rational analysis has made it clear for some time that Dobbs is ill, and definitely in need of a good shrink.
Hate-filled speech did not come naturally to Dobbs, who was once a deeply respected economic commentator and a trailblazer on CNN, the network he just quit. read it all at [irishcentral.com]

Popular Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez announced on Friday his country would open an embassy in Palestine and upgrade ties to ambassadorial level to help support Palestinians and their struggle against Israel. Reuters reported.
‘We have decided to designate an ambassador and open an embassy in Palestine,’ Chavez told reporters after a meeting with Mahmoud Abbas. ‘We now have a charge d’affaires; we will name an ambassador in coming days as part of accords to boost our bilateral relations,’ he said.
Venezuela also provided scholarship for 20 Palestinian to study medicine in Venezuela.

President Obama more popular with Latinos than whites

A recent poll administered by Latino Decisions found President Obama has a 74 percent approval rating among Latino voters.
This is startling especially when you consider a recent Gallup poll found the president only has a 39 percent approval rating among whites.
Also the new Latino Decisions poll found that Latino voters rank health care reform as more important to them than immigration reform.
I was surprised to learn that so many Latinos still support our president compared to the general population

The 49th Street Massacre - Declared a mistrial
A mistrial has been declared for two Los Angeles men accused of spraying bullets into a crowd in a 2006 gang attack that killed a 10-year-old
A judge declared a mistrial today in the case of two gang members accused in the “49th Street Massacre” of three people in 2006.
The decision came after a jury deadlocked in the case, which sparked community outrage and became a symbol of the long reach of gang violence in South L.A.
Los Angeles Police Department detectives concluded that members of the Rollin’ 30s gang fired at the victims — who had no gang ties — while driving around the neighborhood looking for members of the Eastside Trece. The suspects, who are black, fired on a group, all Latinos, standing outside a house on 49th Street.
The shooting was dubbed “the 49th Street Massacre” by then-Police Chief William J. Bratton.

Univision Interactive Media has launched a new advertising and publishing network, Univision Partner Group, with screened Spanish-language online and mobile sites.
Univision is the latest major media company to launch its own mini ad network. In this case, the company is looking to replicate the ad-network model in the less-cluttered Spanish-language market. To that end, Univision has formed Univision Partner Group, a collection of Spanish-language Web sites from the U.S., Latin America and Spain that reach a significant U.S. Hispanic audience. Univision will be able to sell advertising across these partner sites, which include a range of content.
“By developing a network with such broad reach,”
Univision Interactive Media Kevin Conroy said, “we are meeting the needs of our publishers and advertisers in a way that has not been done before in this category.” The network is being built out with Adify for ad serving, targeting, traffic, and other services; Quattro Wireless handling the mobile platform; and Univision’s own Ad-Ready self-service platform for online display advertising. Lou Dobbs not racist enough for ALIPAC?
ALIPAC announced that it’s “withdrawing support” for the former CNN anchor. Lou Dobbs has even managed to turn off the man who was once his biggest supporter. William Gheen, the president of Americans for Legal Immigration (ALIPAC), has devoted quite a bit of energy in recent years to trying to persuade Dobbs to run for president; he even set up a Web site about the cause. But in a press release sent out Thursday morning, ALIPAC announced that it’s “withdrawing support” for the former CNN anchor. - salon.com From the release:
Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is withdrawing support for Lou Dobbs after years, including the suspension of websites calling on Dobbs to run for President due to the perceived change in Mr. Dobbs’s stances on immigration issues. “While Mr. Dobbs claims his positions have not changed, however, that is not the perception of many of our mutual supporters,” said William Gheen of ALIPAC. “His recent comments on Telemundo and his national radio show supporting some kind of path to citizenship for illegal immigrants is inconsistent with positions of ALIPAC and the views of most American citizens.” …. ALIPAC is suspending the operations of two Dobbs fan websites. The Facebook “Draft Lou Dobbs for President or US Senate” and the fan site www.LouDobbsForPresident.org will suspend operations and have a notice of ALIPAC’s discontinued support placed upon them. The site www.LouDobbsForPresident.org was launched back in early 2008 and has generated pledges of over $660,000 in contributions if Lou Dobbs were to run for office. “We’ve received so many demands from prior Dobbs supporters to remove their pledges of support that we have to suspend all operations on the Dobbs fan sites,” said Gheen. “Lou Dobbs has deeply offended his base of supporters and ALIPAC is going to remain loyal to those Americans who support our existing immigration laws instead of Amnesty disguised as reform.”
