Eva Mendes in La Reina del Sur

Besides counting on the presence of Eva Méndez, the main distribution of “the queen of the south” or [La Reina del Sur] is completed with Josh Hartnett and Ben Kingsley ( next to Penélope Cruz). The argument is based on a novel written by Pérez Reverte in 2002 the life of Teresa Mendoza, a Mexican woman who lives a history on love with a drug dealer. After the death of his pair she decides to move to Spain with the purpose of to take revenge itself of the assassins of his fiance. The direction of “La Reina del Sur” is in the hands of Jonathan Jakubowicz wich was in charge of the script adapted next to Albert Torres. The films will start shooting beginning the next month in September.
